Chrismas Day

Santa was very busy this year making a lego table and two farm tables for our boys. Good thing he had daddy to help him. We had such a great day just being at home with our family. Nannie came to see us before church and mamaw and papa came to eat lunch with us. After naps we headed to Grandpa Carl and Grandma D's house for a yummy supper and even more presents! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve relaxing at home and getting food and gifts ready for Christmas day. We headed to Grandpa Bill and Grammie Gale's house about 4:30 to spend time with the Tucker side of the family. There was lots of delicious food of course and the boys had a great time playing in the toy room and opening more presents!

Christmas Eve Eve

We had our annual Christmas at mamaw and papa's house on Christmas Eve Eve. We enjoyed some delicious lasagna and the kids had so much fun playing together. They also got some pretty neat presents that they have had so much fun playing with!

Our Day in Peoria

Last Thursday, we spent the day in Peoria. Bryce had another follow up appointment and since daddy is on Christmas break, we decided to make a day of it.  After the doctor, we headed downtown to the Caterpillar Visitor's Center. They boys had a great time, of course. They loved the big bulldozer, excavator, and road grader. We even got to watch a movie inside the huge dump truck! We then went to the Bass Pro Shop to see the big fish, play in the hunting tents, play on the four wheelers and gators, and see Santa (from a distance). Nannie met us there and we got in line to see the Festival of Lights in East Peoria. It was so cool to see all the lights, and the boys loved it. They especially loved getting out of their car seats and sitting in the back with Nannie. We ended the night eating some delicious pizza at Davis Bros.

Cookie Exchange 2016

On Wednesday, December 21, we had our annual Christmas cookie exchange. I volunteered to host this year, and we had a great time! There were 12 kids in attendance this year and there could have been a few more. There are three of us girls who are pregnant, so there will be even more kids next year! They are all so close in age, and they really all played so well together. Good thing we have our basement playroom!

This was our best attempt at a group photo. They actually did pretty well, and no one was crying this year. The oldest boy there refused to get in the picture, ahem, Bryce.

                                                   Lots of yummy cookies!
Of course all the kids kept sneaking some!
Our basement got destroyed, but that's what it's there for!
Winding down after our big night!
