A Cute Little Story

I don't really have any new pictures to post because all we have been doing lately I feel like is going to basketball games and playing in our basement playroom. So I thought I would share a cute interaction I witnessed at lunch a few days ago. I'm a big promoter of good manners around here. I always make all the kids say please and thank you and it seems like my boys have caught on pretty fast. On this particular day, I dished up everybody's lunch and handed out all the plates. Bryce leaned over and cut up Blaine's Bubble-Up Pizza for him without being asked. When he finished, Blaine said, "tank you Bry." Bryce then responded with "welcome." It was so sweet and they did it without any prompting from me. They may have their moments when they fight and scream at each other (it's usually Blaine that is screaming) but I love witnessing little moments like that.

Farm Show

We went to the same Farm Show at the Quad City Expo Center that we went to last year. Blaine was in a stroller last year and this year he was all over the place. Jenn and the kids came with us too and the kids had a blast climbing on all the different farm equipment. None of them wanted to go home. The only way we got Bryce to leave was by promising him he would go to another farm show in February. Stay tuned...

Trying to get a picture with all 4 of them. You can almost see Jake!

Watching Papa Load Corn

A few weeks ago, papa had some semis come and load out some corn at our house. Both boys are always pressed to the window trying to see what is going on.

Bryce is all about the silly faces right now!

New Year's Eve!

We celebrated New Year's Eve at the lake house this year. We were talking about what we were going to do and daddy suggested spending the night at Oak Run, and Bryce got so excited! When the boys woke up on Thursday, Bryce was ready to go! We had some errands to run and we were at the lake house by lunchtime. The boys took their nap there and we just hang out and played all day and night. Mamaw and papa even joined us for some pizza! At one point Bryce said, "This nice hotel. Lake house hotel." He was also very concerned about where the pontoon boat was as he was ready to go for a boat ride!

Showing daddy pictures from the day before at Discovery Depot

Of course he had to bring his suitcase full of his farm stuff!
They had so much fun with this marble set!

Playing Uno for the first time with Bryce! It was quite a challenge with Godzilla around!

He was using this marble set to load up his semi and truck. It kept them entertained!

He loved this duck and he kept trying to ride it, it was pretty funny!

A few videos of Blaine playing with the marble set. I was just amazed at how intense he was and how it kept him so entertained! The last video is daddy and Bryce doing some farming.

Jayla's 5th Birthday!

Jayla turned 5 on Tuesday, December 29th. I took the day off work so the boys and I could party all day with her. Daddy was in a basketball tournament in Erie so he didn't get to tag along. We spent the day going to Discovery Depot Children's Museum, eating lunch at Wendy's, going home to take naps, then heading to Jayla's house for supper and birthday cake. We had such a fun day!

We were just waiting on our train

We ran into all the Link kids so we tried to take a big cousin picture!

Just two boys doing some farming

They just love each other so much!
Blaine ate every last bite of his ice cream cake!
