Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We have so very much to be thankful for: 2 beautiful healthy, happy little boys and one more on the way, a wonderful family, our health, our beautiful home, great friends, and so much more. We enjoyed lunch at our house this year with Nannie, mamaw, papa, Grandma D,Grandpa Carl, Grandma Jane, and Grandpa Ed. We then went to David and Nancy's house for supper where the boys loved playing with all of Adam's toys in the basement.

The boys got to eat by themselves at the little table that we set up in the living room. They loved it and were so good.

We headed outside after lunch to get some pictures for our Christmas card.

Silly Boys!

We have been working on lots of craft projects for a few upcoming craft shows so the boys have been "helping" daddy in the garage. Shane caught this cute moment between the boys. They really do play pretty well together and are the best of friends! I'm so glad that they can entertain each other.

30 Weeks

Well I am already 30 weeks along, and it has actually gone pretty fast! I am feeling pretty good and starting to get a big ole belly. My back is starting to hurt at night and sleeping is starting to get uncomfortable. This baby moves like crazy whenever I sit down to relax. The boys love putting their hands on my belly and feeling the baby move. My c section is set for January 20th at 8 am, which is less than 2 months away! I am still pretty certain it's another boy, but time will tell. Shane painted a dresser for the room, but we still have to paint and decorate the nursery. It will be here before we know it!

Go Cubs Go!

We were pretty excited when the Cubs won the World Series and I still can't believe it actually happened! The boys are always singing, "Go, cubs, go..." For their Christmas card this year, mamaw and papa wanted pictures of the grandkids all wearing their Cubs shirts, so last Sunday we brought our camera to church and got all kinds of pictures!

Halloween

Well, for the fifth Halloween in a row I was able to make the boys' costumes. I love being "crafty" and putting together their ideas. This year they got hooked on the show "Paw Patrol" on Nick Jr. It's a super cute show about a boy named Ryder and his gang of pups. Each one has a specific job, vehicle, and saying. Bryce wanted to be Ryder and Blaine chose Rubble. I'm pretty sure the only reason Bryce wanted to be Ryder is because he drives a 4-wheeler on the show. Bryce got to ride his 4-wheeler around Billtown while we went trick-or-treating on Sunday. He thought that was pretty cool! Shane started basketball practice on the night of Halloween so we decided to do our Halloween activities on Sunday so that daddy could be a part of it. We started our day by wearing our costumes to church so that we could get a picture with Jake and Jayla since we wouldn't be seeing them on Halloween. We then went to trunk or treat at the Oaks Church in Oak Run. The boys had so much fun playing games and getting candy at each car. Bryce was a little shy but Blaine went right up to everyone. It was a cute event and I'm sure we will be going back next year. We then drove to Billtown and went to Grandpa Bill and Grammie Gale's, Nannies, Grandma Bev's, Aunt Diane's, and Aunt Mel and Uncle Brad's. We had a yummy supper at Nannie's and headed home after our long day! Mamaw and papa went trick-or-treating with us on Monday night to Grandma D and Grandpa Carl's, David and Nancy's, Kevin and Michelle's, and the Library. We ended the night eating pizza at Jimmy's.

They had a cute obstacle course at the church that the boys had fun playing on!

Showing off his tool box for his Rubble costume, although he threw a fit and didn't end up wearing it. Oh well, we had a great time and they are ready to trick-or-treat again!
