Trip to Milwaukee

We spent July 5th through the 8th in Milwaukee. We left on the morning of the 5th and drove to the hotel. We decided to go to an indoor Putt Putt place called Big Putts. It was seriously such a cool place and everyone had a great time. It even had a slide that you could go down. It worked out perfect, because it ended up raining the whole time we were in there. They even had an arcade that we played at when we were done golfing. We then went to a place close by called Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park where the kids did more arcade games, go carting, and ziplining. We then ordered some pizza and headed back to the hotel lobby where we watched the Cubs game and ate supper. The next day we hung around the hotel and took the hotel bus at 11:00 to the Cubs game that started at 1:00. We had plenty of time to walk around the park and take some group pictures before the gates opened. They also had a really cool kids area that was a lot of fun. Everyone enjoyed the game except for Ali. She was bored and ended up playing on my phone most of the time. Although the Cubs lost, it was an exciting game and our seats were right behind the Cubs bullpen. After the game we waited quite a while for the bus to come back and pick us up and we again ordered pizza for supper and ate in the hotel lobby. Before we headed to bed, we walked across the street to get ice cream at a place called Big Deal Burgers and Custard. The next day Mamaw, Papa, and the Johnson's headed back home but we prolonged our trip and decided to spend the day at the Milwaukee County Zoo. It was a huge zoo and we saw some really cool animals. Of course Blaine's favorite was the otters. In fact, the first time we went by the otters were no where to be found so we had to come all the way back around before we left and they were out. He could have sat there forever watching them swim around. We even got to ride in a sky lift that took you over the whole zoo. That was very cool!  Another fun family trip in the books!
