As I finish another year of Kindergarten, I have my last installment of quotes for the year.
*While making our end of the year alphabet book, we were thinking of things that started with each letter. When we came to the letter H, student #11 drew a picture of a girl and wrote, "hot babe."
*One day while working at our tables, student #4 kept saying, "Men's underwear is called Whitey, tighties, whitey, tighties" over and over again. I finally asked him to stop and he said, "What they are!"
*During the last week of school we always visit the fire station in town. The few days leading up to the visit we talk about fire safety. This must of prompted student #13 to sing the Alecia Keys song, "This girl is on fire!" To which student #4 corrected her and said, "No the words are this squirrel is on fire." Then he started to sing,"This squirrel is on fire!"
