Andrew's Graduation

My little cousin Andrew graduated from high school last weekend. I remember when he was born and I'm pretty sure I was his favorite cousin. He used to call me, "Beb, Biz" because he could not say my name. How cute! Now he's all grown up into a tall, handsome, and quiet young man. Congrats Andrew!

Renovation Update!

A little update on the house: Shane's dad, Bill is our in home electrician. He worked a few weekends at the house and changed the box over to a 100 amp breaker system. (I had to ask Shane exactly how to word that by the way). While the boys spent their time in the basement with different colored wires, I spent my time in the kitchen and got EVERYTHING boxed up and out of there! We are talking over 50 years of stuff!

Shane also tore out some old paneled walls in the basement that were built in closets

Tables all set up in the basement ready to put our stuff on when we move

My accomplishment: empty cupboards!

This is an old built in freezer that was actually filled to the brim with cookbooks!

What a Little Smarty!

Here's a cute little video of Bryce's little problem solving brain at work. It took Bryce about one day to figure out how to climb stairs, so we spend alot of time chasing him away from the stairs or following close behind. We do not currently have a baby gate so we use a diaper bag and plastic tub as a barrier, well what we thought was a barrier. Take a look at how he outsmarts his parents!

My First Mother's Day!

I celebrated my first Mother's Day this year. Bryce stayed with Nannie Myrl on Saturday night and went to church with her on Sunday morning. Shane and I went to breakfast on Sunday morning and then went to Myrl's house for lunch and to pick up our little boy. We then stopped at Grandpa Bill and Grammy Gale's house for another lunch and then headed back to Ottawa. I feel very blessed to be the mommy of such a happy, healthy, funny, loving, and sweet little boy. I never knew how big my heart was until I had him!

Happy Mother's Day!

Bryce is excited for Mother's Day too!

9 Months Old!

Bryce was 9 months old on Saturday. He is getting to be such a big boy! He can pull himself up on everything! He loves the dishwasher and the fridge. His favorite spot in our house is next to our couch where our internet router is. He loves the lights that flash and even turned our internet off for three days!
Hey look what I can do

Hi mom!

Criss-cross applesauce!

Let me just fix this sign here

Yeah that's better
What? I didn't do anything

Our Day with the Fair Family

Last weekend we spent our Sunday with Jim and Joylene Fair. They are a great couple that Shane has become very close to in his 13 years teaching at Gardner. They refer to Shane as their third son. Jim and Shane coached basketball together at Gardner and they have spent countless nights talking, analzying, and discussing the game. We are definitely going to miss them!

Jim and Joylene have two sons, Dana and Devin and four grand daughters. Dana and his family live a few blocks away, so they came over to see us.

Bryce loved Addison and Kennedy

Look at those cuties! Can you tell the girls are sisters?

I love this picture!

Bryce's fourth set of grandparents!

What a ham!

He's such a happy boy!

Cousin Love

A few weeks ago our little family got together with Jenn and Joel and the kids at mom and dad's house. We finally got a picture with Papa Pete and Mamaw Diane with all three grand kids.

Uh mom have you seen my last puff?

Bryce loves Jayla!

And Jayla loves Bryce

I can't believe they are both looking at me at the same time! It's a photo miracle!

Uh mom what are you doing?

Just giving Jayla some love!

What a happy boy!

Jayla telling us all about their neighbors garage on fire! She just kept saying, "Scary, fire, scary..."

Bryce was listening so attentively

And the picture taking begins. Jayla what is so funny and Jake, could you open your eyes for us?

Okay nevermind Jake, maybe you should keep them shut!

The best one we could get!

And Bryce knocks him out!

Sleepy boy!
