Our Little Birthday Boy

Okay, I feel like I may be going overboard with the birthday posts, but oh well. I'm allowed to do that. We've had a great day so far. We've actually spent most of our day outside and as soon as the kids wake up from their naps we are going back out. Blaine actually slept in this morning until 7:30. He is usually up around 6:30. Bryce was so excited for him to wake up and open his presents.

He was roaring like a lion and getting his big brother

Singing happy birthday to Blaine

Just having fun playing outside

Ornery boy climbing on top of his new picnic table

Learning to walk!

What did Bryce do today? Plant beans with papa of course! If you look really close you can see his little head to the left of papa.

Our little 1 year old! Time flies! The many faces of Blaine Butler!

I love how he has one arm on the wheel and one arm leaning back

Just chewing on rocks

So ornery

How old you are?

Blainer Boy is One!

Well folks, today is the day my little Blainer boy turns one. At 2:03 pm to be exact. I really can't believe a year ago we were at the hospital and we were so excited to find out if it was going to be a boy or a girl. I remember being a little nervous but yet relaxed at the same time, if that makes any sense. We had our boy name ready but we couldn't agree on our girl name. We were both adament about our own picks. I guess it was a good thing Blaine was a boy.

This past year has really flown by. He was and is such a good baby. He is pretty easy going (for the most part) and just goes with the flow. He has always loved to eat and sleep (thank goodness). He can entertain himself, but he can also hold his own with all the crazy kids around here! He is my outgoing, social, lovable, giggly, happy little boy. He loves to dance and clap, can say "momma," and "dadda." He has started to sing, can sign "more," "finished,"and "bye bye." He can stand on his own and walk behind his puppy toy. He is the messiest eater I've ever seen and is starting to drink from a sippy cup. He seriously loves his mommy, thinks his daddy is pretty hilarious and wants to be just like his brother. Happy birthday Blainer boy! I love you more and more everyday!

Daddy and His Boys

I feel like I've done a post like this before but I will do one again. Daddy loves his boys and the boys love their daddy.

He loves pushing his brother in this car

Now it's time for mower rides

Bryce is ready to go
