Fun in the Snow

The kids got another chance to play in the snow this weekend. We came home from school on Friday and had a fun snowball fight. It was super great packing snow! Ali made her own little snowman, Blaine made snow chairs, and Bryce and I worked so hard to make a snowman in the front yard. Then on Saturday morning, Shane pulled the kids around on the 4-wheeler. They had so much fun, and Blaine said, "We have to make this a tradition." They want to go out again today when they wake up from their nap!

Bryce's New Animal Farm Table

Bryce wanted another farm table in his room to house his barn and animals. He talked daddy into helping him build a table and he was able to help design it, paint it, and build it. He even helped move it to his room and position it once we got it in there. He was pretty proud and did a great job setting it all up!

Breakfast Train

As part of their Christmas present, we got Grandpa Bill and Grammie Gale tickets on the breakfast train from Galesburg to Kewanee, breakfast at Station House, and then a train ride back to Galesburg. We went on Saturday, January 4th. We had such a great time and we will definitely be doing it again!

Ali's Birthday

On Ali's birthday we all had the day off of school since it was Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so we were able to spend the day together. We watched her open her presents, picked up mamaw and papa, stopped at Casey's for breakfast, and headed to Rock Island for the Quad City Farm Show. The kids had a blast walking around and climbing on all kinds of equipment. We stopped at Pizza Hut in Orion on the way home for a yummy lunch. The kids even got to play outside for a little big when Ali Kay woke up from her nap.
