Some New House Updates!

With all these snow days we've had lately, Shane's been able to get some house projects done and it's been so fun being home with Bryce!

We finally got our island. Now we just have to get a counter top for it.

Shane was able to get some trim work done too!

He also hung some pictures up. This was a picture we found when cleaning out the house. Not sure of the exact year, but how cool is this!

We also found the original blueprints of the house.

Very hard to see, but this is the outside of the house

Inside of the house

This was a sign Shane made for me out of pallets. It was a big surprise to me. He was so secretive about it, and I love it!

Before every meal we hold hands with Bryce and say a prayer. This is the start of one of the prayers.

A little sneak peak at his next project

Of course his helper is always nearby

Our day with Jake and Jayla!

A few weeks ago, Jenn and Joel were out of town with some friends so Jake and Jayla were staying with Mamaw and Papa. They had a meeting to go to on Saturday morning so Jayla and Jake spent the morning and part of the afternoon with us. Boy did we have fun! Little Jaker slept 2 hours and was the easiest of the three to take care of. The hardest part was keeping Bryce and Jayla out of Bryce's room while Jake slept.

I couldn't get a picture of all three of them looking at me, so this is the best I could do.

They thought this was so funny! I know it looks like Bryce is crying, but he's really just screaming!

They were so busy and played so good together

20 weeks!

I cannot believe that I am already 20 weeks pregnant with baby #2: halfway there! I am finally over my first trimester sickness and feeling very good, except I can't really fit into any of my pants anymore and finally broke down and bought a pair of maternity jeans.

Random Pictures From My Phone

I have quite a collection of photos on my phone. Sometimes it's easier to grab my phone then get the camera out. He is one silly dude!

He loves sitting in daddy's chair

Crazy hair after church

An actual milk mustache

One night when daddy was at his basketball game, Bryce piled all his toys on the chair, covered himself up and just sat in daddy's chair and said "dadda dadda"

This kid loves his pasta! Who wants to clean him up?

What a goof!

He loves finishing mommy's hot chocolate

Big Brother

One day over break we found Bryce in the new baby's room sitting in the rocking chair. Daddy gave him a book to read so we could announce our pregnancy on Facebook. What a little ham! He is going to be such a great big brother!

Winter Break Extended!

I was suppose to go back to school two days ago on Monday, but because of the snow and cold weather, I got two more days to spend at home with my sweet little family. We have had so much fun together, and Bryce and I loved staying in our pajamas all day. We got some pictures up on the wall, a little bit of trim painting done, and the garage cleaned out so both our vehicles can now fit in the garage.

He loves playing with daddy's tools

It kept him entertained for at least 20 minutes

He loves watches sports with his daddy

He was trying to ignore his mommy

Discovery Depot Museum

On Saturday, January 4, we went to the Discovery Depot Children's Museum in Galesburg with Jenn and Jayla. We had a great time. The kids were so funny, they were just running around from one place to another having so much fun. Bryce's favorite area was the farm (shocker) and the ball ramp. Jayla's favorite area was the jumbo light bright. There is a great outdoor area as well, so we will definitely be back this summer.

Trying to carry as many as possible

He did not want to sit still for a picture with mommy

Mommy had fun too!

Wide open spaces

He loved the fire ladder

He was too busy for a picture

He loved the legos

Jayla loved the light brights

He made a pizza, and then traveled all through the museum to give it to daddy, it was so sweet!

Saying hi to a little baby

The only picture I have with them together. Jayla was very serious about about this museum thing (notice her shoes are off)

Come on daddy let's go

I tried to get a few pictures of the different areas of the museum, but I only got two. This was the very cool air tunnel wall.

This was the ambulance, post office, market, and pizza area.
