Christmas Night

We went to Grandma D and Grandpa Carl's house on Christmas night to celebrate with the Erickson family. The grand kids took turns reading the Christmas story, we opened presents, and enjoyed a yummy Swedish dinner complete with Swedish sausage, rice pudding, Swedish rye bread, pickled herring and lutefisk. Yummy, yummy! (Well not the pickled herring and lutefisk part)

Reading his new tractor book with papa

Jake showing off his present

Such a big boy!

That's about as good as it gets

I love how Blaine is looking at Bryce in this one. It's like he's saying, "C'mon get it together."

Grandma and Grandpa wanted a picture with all four great grand kids, and this is what happened!

Lol!

Christmas Morning

On Christmas we spent the whole day at home until about 5:00 just hanging out with our boys. Nannie was on her way to our house when she hit a deer, poor Nannie. She said she hopes it wasn't one of Santa's reindeer. Daddy made us breakfast and Mamaw and Papa came over for lunch. We had a great day!

Checking out his new toys

He loved his little 4-wheeler

Playing on the mat that mommy made

Eating daddy's yummy breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast

This kid loves his toast

Bryce hid all the way inside the ottoman when Mamaw and Papa came. They seriously couldn't find him.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to Shane's cousin Tracy's house in Billtown with Papa Bill's family. There were alot of people there and Bryce was super shy for awhile until Tracy got out all the toy cars and trucks. The boys got some very cool toys and we had a lot of fun!

Blaine just hanging with Grandma Bev

Now he's happy

Blaine just stared at Elmo. It was so funny!

7 Months Old!

Blaine was 7 months old last week on the 22nd. He is such a joy to have around our house and is seriously the best baby ever! He is moving all over the place. He scoots backwards and rotates around in a circle. He loves to sit up and grab for all his toys. He sometimes goes up on his knees, but soon goes back flat on his belly. He loves eating food especially green beans, peas, and bananas. He still sleeps 7pm to 7am and takes 3 naps a day. He has one tooth that just came through on the bottom and chews on anything he can get his hands on. I could go on and on about this little one!

Just reading his sign this month!

Such a cutie!

Laughing at his brother of course

Bryce thinks he needs some toys

And now Bryce thinks he needs to be in the pictures

Bryce was telling us something (probably something about tractors or backhoes) and Blaine is just smiling away

There's another cutie!

Christmas at Mamaw and Papa's

We started the tradition last year of having Christmas with mom and dad on Christmas Eve Eve. We had a yummy supper and then opened presents. This year the boys got to spend the night after all the excitement. Maybe we'll make that a tradition too.

Loving her Frozen flannel board I made for her

Bryce loves his bobcat (just like papa's)

Jake loved his busy board that Shane and I made for him

Christmas at Nannies!

On Sunday, December 21st we celebrated Christmas with Myrl, Brett and Jo and the kids, Grandma Jane and Grandpa Ed, Uncle Dan, Bob and Meta and the kids, and Aunt Susan and Brandon. We had a great time!
