Blaine's 4th Birthday!

Blaine turned 4 on May 22nd. I am obviously way behind on getting pictures off of our camera so I will share his birthday pictures almost 3 months after his actual birthday. We sort of made a deal with Blaine Butler for his birthday this year. He had not been at all interested in potty training. Up until his birthday, he would wear underwear, but he would not tell us when he had to go and he would just have accident after accident. We finally told him that on his birthday we were going to throw his diapers away and he was not going to get a birthday party until he started to use the potty. Was this a little strict and maybe not necessary? Probably. But did it work? Yep! It was still not until July that he finally decided to start to poop on the potty. So we celebrated his birthday we just never actually had a big family birthday party! Did he really care? Nope! He now goes potty like a pro and is actually starting preschool tomorrow! He just had to be difficult for us! We love our Blaine Butler so much and he is seriously so funny and says the best one liners. He cracks us up everyday and we're so glad that God gave us this sweet, kind, stubborn, loving, active, witty, and smart little boy to call our own!

Sweet Corn Festival

We had a great time at the Sweet Corn Festival in Oneida this year. Shane ran in the 5k race and all 3 kids ran in the kids race that went around the block. We had fun at all the kids activities at the park and rode with mamaw and papa in an old antique wagon during the parade.

They were pumped and ready to go!

Ali and papa walked all around the block and she was so excited to receive her ribbon!

Stark County Pee Wee Show

The day the boys waited for all summer finally came a few weeks ago when they got to show on their own during the Pee Wee Show at Stark County Fair. This was Bryce's third year and Blaine's first year showing. It was so much fun to watch them and they did so good!

Practicing so hard to get ready for the show!

They had so many fun things set up for the kids to play with while we waited for the show to start.
