8 Months Old!

Our little Ali girl was 8 months old on Wednesday! She is crawling everywhere and into everything! She loves playing on the floor and trying to keep up with her brothers! She still drools like crazy and loves her baby food! She is getting good at picking up her puffs and other small pieces of food and she is just the happiest little thing!

Ag Day

The boy's favorite day of the year is Ag Day in Billtown. I'm pretty sure it's more exciting to them than Christmas morning! They had so much fun. It was definitely warmer this year than years before, but they didn't seem to mind. Ali got to join us this year and she had fun watching her crazy brothers from the stroller. Nannie was nice enough to take Ali to her house so she could get her afternoon nap in. The boys stayed until the very end, and even then, it was a battle to get them to leave!

Doing their chores, this is a favorite activity every year. Here they are digging for potatoes.

Pumping water for the ducks. Right after this picture, Bryce tripped as he was pouring the water over the fence, and he dumped it all down the front of him! It was pretty hilarious!

Picking pumpkins and collecting chicken eggs

Feeding the goats and ringing the bell to signify that they completed their chores!

Now it's time for the big boys to have some fun. Papa Pete and Drew Gibbs had a pretty entertaining race!

Peeling apples and completing the obstacle course together!

They loved the corn pit, and so did everyone else! The boys were so excited to see the Swanson girls and get a chance to play with them!

Boys and Tools

We have really used our breezeway a lot this summer. It's such a nice place to hang out as a family. I have so many fond memories of being in that same space with my grandma and grandpa.

Talking on his phone

Working on the tractor. They "jack it up" to fix underneath.

Labor Day at the Airport

We spent the morning of Labor Day at the airport in Galesburg. We invited the Johnson family to come with us this year and we enjoyed some yummy pancakes! The kids also got to ride in an airplane simulator and look at some planes up close on the runway.

What a crazy group!

Ali Kay was being so serious!
