Shane's 2nd Triathlon

Shane completed his 2nd Triathlon on September 22 at Oak Run. First he swam 300 yards, then he biked all the way around the lake (12 miles), and then he ran 3.1 miles. Despite the cold temperature and 20 mph wind, he finished 23rd out of 217 participants. I was very proud of him and I think he was pleased with his results as well.
The Tucker boys before the race!

Getting in the water. Shane is the one in the orange swim cap, can you find him? Haha

And their off!

Shane going up the big hill on his bike, I think I can, I think I can...

Well maybe not quite

Transitioning from biking to running

Running down the big hill of Lakeview to the finish line. He finished in 1 hour and 16 minutes. Good job Shane!

Bryce's First Photo Shoot

So some days I have alot of time on my hands being a stay at home mom, so one day last week I decided to do a little photo shoot with Bryce. Oh poor Bryce, he has no idea what he's in for. Overall, he was a pretty good sport.

Grandpa Bill and Grammy Gale got him his first basball glove and ball.

Really mom?

I love this picture!

So sweet!

Look at those big feet!

A Special Outfit

When I was pregnant with Bryce, Myrl (Shane's mom) gave me the outfit that Shane wore home from the hospital. This same outfit was worn home by Bill (Shane's dad). So Bryce would be the 3rd generation to wear this outfit home from the hospital. Unfortunately it was really big on Bryce and we were in a hurry to leave the hospital, so he did not wear it home. I know, shame on us. I decided to put him in it this week and take his picture with his dad. We can just pretend that he wore it home from the hospital.

Not sure if this is a smile or a scowl, but he looks cute either way.

1 Month Old!

Bryce is one month old today! I can't believe it! It has gone by so fast. At the doctor today he weighed 10 pounds and 1 ounce and measured 23 inches long. I knew he had grown in length because he no longer fits in his newborn sleepers. How sad! On Etsy I bought these sticker ties to put on a onesie each month. Shane thought it was a pretty cheesy idea, but I love it! How cute does he look in this seriously! Once he is a year old, we will  have a little progression of how much he changed in a year! Happy one month Bryce!

Look at those chicken legs!

He was smiling in this picture but looking away, and then he started to cry! So our photo shoot was cut short.

What a handsome boy!

Life with Bryce!

Bryce is such a great baby! He already sleeps 6 hours at night. Not sure how long this will last, so we are trying to enjoy it while we can! Bryce has met so many friends and family. We even made a trip home to my parents house for about 5 days. Boy did he have fun playing with all of mom's daycare kids. He had lots of mother hens looking out for him. Here are a few updated pics. He is growing and changing so much.
Hayden and Izzy came to visit us.

Jayla was not quite sure what to think.

Giving kisses!

He loves to sleep with his arms out, but this time his feet were out too.

So wide awake!

This is how he loves to sit on daddy's lap.

Just hanging out with Amanda.

Sleeping on Aunt Jenn

Grandma and Papa with both grandkids

This picture makes me laugh. He was sound asleep and Jayla is trying to hold him up.

He fell asleep at Uncle Brett and Aunt Jo's house and Nannie put him in Hayden's bean bag chair. He kept sinking deeper and deeper in.

Meeting more cousins at Grandpa Bill and Grammy Gale's house.
