3 months old!

Blaine was 3 months old last Friday! He is such a happy baby! He is so smiley and even giggles! He loves watching his big brother and still loves his swing! He also loves to be on the floor kicking and moving his arms. He has even rolled over from his tummy to his back. He is sleeping really good at night and has taken a few naps in his crib. He sucks his thumb when he gets tired, eats like a little piggy, and is starting to get the cutest little leg rolls! We are enjoying our little boy!

2 year pics and 2 month pics

We decided to do our own pictures of the boys for Bryce's 2 year and Blaine's 2 months. We thought it would be a good idea to put Bryce on some of papa's tractors to get a good picture, but it just seemed to distract him. So we didn't get a lot of pictures where he was looking at us and smiling, but oh well!

Downstairs Bathroom is Complete!

Shane worked most of the summer on converting the downstairs laundry room into our second bathroom. And what a transformation it was! He did it all himself, with a little help from his dad. The original house was only built with one bathroom, but my dad and Uncle Dick created a tiny little bathroom the last few years Grandma and Grandpa lived here so they wouldn't have to walk up the stairs quite as much. It was only as wide as a toilet and had a little sink. We basically just made it a lot bigger, changed the layout, and added a shower. Sounds easy right?

Shane made the cross, the towel holder, and the name sign above the wire baskets! He is quite creative!

This name plate, which was my grandpa, was on the old mailbox. Shane surprised me with it, how very special to have it hanging in our house.

This is a nameplate that was on the house of Shane's godparents in Williamsfield. How lucky am I to have married such a handy man. This bathroom surpassed all my expectations and it is one of my favorite rooms in the whole house. I love it!

Bryce's 2nd Birthday!

We can't believe Bryce is two years old! He is such a fun little boy and we can't imagine our life without him. A few of his favorites right now:
Favorite toys: tractors, mower, and tool bench
Favorite thing to do: ride on the mower with daddy
Favorite books: A John Deere Fun at the County Fair book and Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks and Things That Go
Favorite food: any type of fruit, pasta, hot dogs, corn on the cob, actually anything, he loves to eat!
Favorite TV show: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

We had his birthday party at our house on Sunday, August 10th, the day before his birthday. We had a Mickey Mouse themed party with lots of family and fun!

Our Mickey themed food: Tootles (plates, napkins, silverware), Hot Diggity Dogs, Chips and Dale, Minnie Carrots, Donald and Daisy Dip, Goofy Grapes, Pluto Punch, and We've Got Ears Cupcakes.

On his actual birthday we wanted to do something fun so we met Nannie, Izzy, Hayden, Mamaw, and Adele (a girl she babysits) at the park in Knoxville. They have a nice little park there and the kids had a great time! We then went to McDonalds for lunch and then home for naps!
