The long weekend over Veterans' Day Shane and I headed to Chicago to see the show Wicked. The kids got to spend 2 nights at Nannie's and they had a great time as well. We did some shopping, walked way too much, and of course ate our favorite Chicago foods like roast beef sandwiches, donuts, and deep dish pizza. We sure love visiting the windy city!
For one of Bryce's 4-H projects he had to take pictures of a collection and make a poster of it to explain to the judges. He of course chose his farm collection that is set up in the basement. He took some great pictures and I thought I would share them here.
On Sunday, October 2nd, both Ali and Bryce got to participate in the RW Homecoming parade in Oneida. Ali was chosen as the crown bearer and Bryce got to ride in the parade with his football team. Blaine unfortunately had a flag football game at the same time so Shane went with him to his game and I took the other 2 to the parade. After the parade, Ali was part of the Cornation at the football field. She got to carry the crown for the queen and did so great. She wasn't shy at all and really rocked it!
