On Wednesday, December 21, we had our annual Christmas cookie exchange. I volunteered to host this year, and we had a great time! There were 12 kids in attendance this year and there could have been a few more. There are three of us girls who are pregnant, so there will be even more kids next year! They are all so close in age, and they really all played so well together. Good thing we have our basement playroom!
This was our best attempt at a group photo. They actually did pretty well, and no one was crying this year. The oldest boy there refused to get in the picture, ahem, Bryce.
Lots of yummy cookies!
Of course all the kids kept sneaking some!
Our basement got destroyed, but that's what it's there for!
Winding down after our big night!

Billtown Alumni Tournament
Yesterday, Shane played in the 1st Annual Billtown Alumni Tournament. He was suppose to have a girl's basketball game, but it got cancelled because of the weather, so he was able to play in this tournament instead. The boys and I were able to watch him play his first game and then mamaw and papa picked us up and we traveled to Bloomington to watch cousin Andrew graduate from ISU. Daddy played a total of five games yesterday, and came in 2nd place. He had a great time, and is only a tad bit sore today!

Choral Dynamics
The first weekend in December, Bryce and I had a date night and attended mamaw and papa's Choral Dynamics Christmas show at the Orpheum Theatre. We met the Johnson family there, and had a great time all sitting together in the balcony.
Christmas at Nannie's
The boys love sitting by the fire as soon as they get out of their bath. Daddy was able to capture a few cute moments of them.
We had Christmas with Nannie, Uncle Brett, Aunt Jo, Hayden, Izzy, Grandma Jane, and Grandpa Ed a little early this year since Brett and Jo and the kids will be in Hawaii for Christmas. We all got together this past Sunday at Nannie's house for a delicious lunch and Christmas craziness. That Nannie, sure does know how to spoil us. The boys got some cool stuff that they have been having so much fun playing with this week.
We missed nap time, so our boys were not having it when it came to getting a cousin picture with Nannie. Oh well, one of these years they will be cooperate.

O Christmas Tree
This is the 4th year that we have traveled to Grohman's tree farm outside of Knoxville to get our Christmas tree. We just love picking out and cutting down our own tree. This year was perfect, it was the first snow of the season and it was just so pretty and festive out. The boys had a blast. It wasn't very cold out and it was perfect snowball weather. We also had our first fire in the fireplace of the season and the boys were such good helpers this year decorating the tree.
