Quad City Farm Show

This past Sunday we traveled to Rock Island to attend the Quad City Farm Show at the Expo Center. We left after church and needless to say, both boys were so very excited! Mamaw and papa also met up with us with Jake and Jayla.

Discovery Depot and Silly Boys

Last week the boys and I met Jenn and Jake at Discovery Depot for a fun morning. We then went to Wendy's and got some pretty silly head pieces with our meal.

January Birthdays

There are a lot of family birthdays in January. We started by celebrating Grandma D's 86th birthday at mamaw and papa's house with the Johnson family. We enjoyed yummy pizza from Casey's and a delicious ice cream cake. We then celebrated mamaw's 60th birthday with a surprise party at her house on her birthday. We had about 35 people there and we all had a great time!

Shane's Basketball Team

We've only made it to a handful of Shane's games this season so far. He has had a lot of away games and honestly it's not real fun sitting in those hard bleachers for a long amount of time being so pregnant. We did road trip to Erie with mamaw and papa when he played in the championship game over the holiday season and they won! It was a great game. The boys were so excited for daddy and he was even interviewed on TV.

Handsome Boys and 37 Weeks!

This past Sunday before church I was going through some drawers and Bryce and I found some of their bowties that they haven't worn in awhile. Both boys decided that they wanted to wear one, and they looked so cute I wanted to get some pictures of my handsome boys.

           Brotherly love, two seconds after this picture Bryce tackled Blaine and he fell down the stairs.

37 weeks and starting to get miserable. I started having cramps pretty much all the time due to the fact that the baby's head is so low. My back gets sore and I'm also having trouble sleeping at night. But, we are all very excited to meet this little wiggle worm and find out if it's a boy or a girl.

New Year's Eve at the Lake House

After leaving Grandpa Bill's house, we headed to the lake house to spend the day and night celebrating New Year's Eve. We just love staying out there. It is so relaxing and the boys have so much fun! Bryce kept saying, "Me just love staying at the lake house." He also kept asking how many nights that we were going to stay. We definitely did not see midnight, not even close in fact. But we did enjoy some fireworks from across the lake, wear party hats, and blow our party horns. We had a great 2016 and we cannot wait to see what 2017 will bring us.

Christmas at Grandpa Bill's House

We had our last Christmas celebration at Grandpa Bill and Grammie Gale's house for brunch on New Year's Eve. We enjoyed some yummy breakfast food and more presents. We were even able to get a grandkid picture where no one was crying. It was a Christmas miracle!
