Ali Kay's First Haircut

About a month ago, we all got together at Nannie's house for supper and we decided that Ali needed a haircut. She was so excited and sat so good while Nannie gave her a little trim!

Blaine's Birthday and Birthday Party

Blaine was so excited to wake up and open his presents on the morning of his birthday. He wanted to stay home and play with his new ice cream cart instead of going to school!

He was pretty excited about his gummy worms! 

We had his family birthday party on Saturday, May 25th at our house and he wanted a beach/water themed birthday party this year. I even let him decorate his cake all on his own. He had so much fun with it and was really getting into it! 

As soon as everyone started singing, he got super shy and tried to hide in daddy. 

 And here's where the water balloons came out! It's crazy how fast they went through 100 water balloons! It was pretty entertaining!

 He had a lot of good help opening his presents and reading his cards!

Blaine got a Target gift card for his birthday and spent it on a rocket ship lego set. He was so excited and he wanted Bryce to help him put it together. It was super cute watching them together! 

Blaine and Mommy's Day of Adventure

On Blaine's actual birthday, I was stuck at school for our Spring concert and didn't hardly get to see the birthday boy. I had decided a few months ago to use one of my personal days to take off the day after his birthday and take Blaine to the Peoria Playhouse (his favorite place to go). So we both skipped school on that day and spent the day together. We dropped Bryce off at school, Ali off at Mamaw's, and headed to Peoria. We spent the morning at the museum, had a picnic at the park, and went back to the museum in the afternoon. We actually ran into a field trip group from Henry and it was so much fun to see some of my past coworkers. It was a really special day with my little boy.

Graduation Parties

We've attended a few graduation parties this past May and I only have a few pictures from Tucker's party (that I stole from Annette). The kids sure have fun playing and of course eating all the different foods and desserts!

Ali Kay's Big Girl Bed

About a month ago, Shane made this awesome bed for Ali to sleep in. She loved to play and read in it, but refused to sleep in it. That is, until this past weekend. She decided that she wanted her crib taken down and she has slept in her big bed ever since. She loves to climb on it and seriously how cute is she? This was on Friday after she had the flu on Thursday. I'm glad it was short lived! I just love her room and decided to share a few other pictures of it!
