Cousin Extravaganza

 If it was up to Bryce, everyday during break would be a cousin sleepover and play date. This year instead of gifts from us to Jake and Jayla and gifts from the Johnson's to our kids, we decided to do fun experiences instead. We also rotate between houses for a sleepover and it was the Jake and Jayla's turn. On Wednesday December 22nd, we went to Family Museum in Bettendorf, went to Cookies and Dreams, and then the kids spent the night with Jake and Jayla. The next day we went to see Sing 2 at the movie theatre and then had Christmas with at mamaw and papa's house that night. We also went to Discovery Depot all together on the 28th and did a paint night and supper at Buffalo Wild Wings on the 29th for Jayla's birthday! These 5 sure have a blast together! 

Christmas with Grandpa Bill and Grammie

 We celebrated Christmas with Grandpa Bill and Grammie Gale on Sunday, December 19th at their house with a yummy taco bar. We had a great time being together and opening presents of course! 

Sunday School Christmas Program

 We had our Christmas program at church the second Sunday of December. Bryce was Joseph, Blaine was a wise man, and Ali was a sheep. They did such a great job and were so cute! 

O Christmas Tree

 We went back to Grohman's this year to find our perfect Christmas tree. We brought mamaw and papa with us and they found the perfect tree too! The kids have so much fun with this tradition and I'm so glad we started it 8 years ago! 

Making Swedish Sausage

 We went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house a few weeks before Christmas to help make Swedish Sausage to eat on Christmas night. Bryce was really into it this year and loved mixing it up with his hands and running the crank. Blaine and Ali had a good time playing with all the old toys! 

School Christmas Concerts

 Blaine and Bryce both had their school programs at the beginning of December. It was so nice to be able to go to a Christmas concert again after being off last year. Blaine had his in the high school gym and Bryce had his in the cafeteria. They both did such a great job!
