Ali had her school Christmas program on December 12th at 6:00 in the high school gym. It was a Nutcracker theme and it was so sweet. She knew all the words and all the motions too. She was right in the front row and she did so great! We just loved watching her perform.
On November 25th, we traveled to Swedona to find another perfect Christmas tree. Mamaw and Papa joined us again this year and it was a beautiful afternoon. We really liked the type of tree we got last year, so we got another fir tree this year. The kids love helping and it looks so great in our living room. We again have festival of trees in our living room with our real tree, nativity tree, and our farm tree!
Shane and Bryce took off for an unforgettable trip to Canada on June 2nd and came home on June 10th. The idea started with Uncle Brett and this is also where the idea of individual trips for each kid came from. We were not sure if Blaine would be able to handle the drive and the long days in Canada which is why we decided to take the trip with him to Milwaukee instead. Bryce and Shane rode with Brett and Hayden and Bill and Brodie drove separate. Brett brought his boat, Bill brought his boat, and Shane and Bryce rented a boat when they got there. I didn't get much out of them about the trip but I could tell that they both had a great time and Bryce loved spending time with all the guys. They did so much fishing, ate some really good food and Bryce, Hayden, and Brodie even jumped in the super cold lake water on their last day there! The memories they made there will last a lifetime and maybe the next time they go, Blaine will get to go with.
We've had a great time attending so many football games this Fall. They made it all the way to round 3 of the playoffs and man was it exciting! Bryce got to help with the team again this year and he was in charge of the kicking tees. He only missed one game the whole season. Blaine would go back and forth between watching the game and playing football with his buddies, and Ali Kay had her girl gang. We all had a great time!
