Halloween Fun

 Bryce is getting to the age where he is too cool for Halloween so he spent a lot of time with Papa and Dane helping with Harvest. Shane and I took Blaine and Ali to the Niabi Zoo where they had a lot of fun Halloween displays throughout the zoo. We had a great time together and they even brought their own money to buy a stuffie (shocker) at the gift shop. I also took the kids to a few different trunk or treats. One at the Oneida park and one at the Oak Run church. Bryce did treat or treat with us on Halloween night and he did carve pumpkins with us as well. 

Ag Day, Homecoming Parade, and Ali Cheer and Color Guard Clinics

 We attended the annual Ag Day in Billtown in September where Blaine competed in the tractor pull for the first time. In the Homecoming parade, Bryce rode on the 4-H float, Blaine walked with the 5th and 6th grade band, and Ali got to watch with her classmates. Ali participated in both a Cheer Clinic and the first ever Color Guard Clinic during halftime of two different football games. 

Illinois Football Game

 When they had the auction for the ROWVA Public School Foundation we bid on a trip for five to the Illinois vs. Purdue game on October 12th. We decided to switch Ali for Jake since football games aren't really Ali's thing. We knew she would have more fun with Jayla anyway. It was a really great game and so exciting at the end. Blaine went through all the emotions at the end to crying, anger, even stomping up the stairs, and finally to excitement and relief. 

Bachelorette Party and Wedding Fun

 One of my very best friends is getting married in December and I attended her bachelorette party at the end of August. It was a bar crawl to a variety of bars complete with a party bus. I am just so excited for her and I cannot wait to celebrate with her! Shane and I attended an adults only wedding on October 19th in Ottawa. It was great to see some friends from Gardner and South Wilmington that we hadn't seen in quite awhile.
