Another Year....

Today I turned 31. Another year gone by, and another day to remember how truly lucky and blessed I really am. I spent the day with my two boys along with a few extra daycare girls. I got to spend my morning building a lego train, fixing Bryce's auger wagon about ten times, visiting with my grandparents, getting so many kisses and hugs I lost count, reading book after book, cuddling up and watching Mickey before naptime, 2 hours of quiet time (yeah!), playing outside, enjoying dinner (made by Shane), and devouring a piece of ice cream cake. It may not be an exciting birthday celebration to some people, but to me it was perfect!

These two boys love our little farm life, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Both Shane and I were sad to leave our friends at Henry and Gardner to move here, but we couldn't imagine raising our boys anywhere else. I went a little overboard with these pictures, but there are just so many cute ones, I couldn't leave any of them out.

Happy Fall Y'all!

Fall is officially here and we love it! The weather has been so gorgeous lately and I love watching the leaves change colors. Fall also means harvest time and man do my boys love to help papa with harvest, including Shane!

This is a $1 pumpkin container that I painted with chalkboard paint. I think it turned out so cute!

Tanner's Orchard

The boys and I met Aunt Jo, Hayden, Izzy, and Nannie at Tanners Orchard this past Saturday while daddy and Grandpa Bill worked on a new window at our house. I would drive by Tanners everyday on my way to Henry but I haven't been there since I was in grade school. It was such a great place for the kids to play, although it did get very busy on a Saturday morning.

As soon as you walked in the kids area there were pedal tractors for them to play on. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time in this area.

They also had an old grain bin that they filled with sand and toys. What a cool idea!

Bryce loved playing in the school bus. It was so cute!

Izzy was my little babysitter for Blaine again.
