The Perfect 10

Last weekend we traveled to Chicago so that Shane could run a race called the Perfect 10. It involved a 10K and a 10 mile run. He participated in the 10K. I sadly do not have any pictures of the race because it started at 7:30 am, and I may or may not have slept in and missed it. I mean, come on, it was Saturday morning and Bryce was at Grandpa and Grammy's so it meant sleep in time! Anyway, I did meet up with him after the race at Navy Pier and he ended up finishing 67th out of 1,440 people. He also got 5th in his age group! Very proud of him! We spent the rest of the day shopping on Michigan Avenue and of course eating some really great food! We also went on a river tour of the city which was so much fun!

We went on the 4:30 pm tour, so we were able to see the city at night as well.
