Young Author's Night

Last Thursday we attended "Young Author's Night" at Bryce's school. He was so excited to show us his narrative that he wrote which was about working on the farm during harvest time. Of course it was about something farm related! The top three authors in each grade level got a medal and the top author got their story read aloud while they got to sit in a special chair. We had received an email ahead of time from his teacher to tell us that he will win a special award but to keep it a secret from him. He ended up getting second place out of the two Kindergarten classes, which I thought was awesome. We are so proud of him!
