Easter was obviously a little bit different this year. The only thing that remained the same was our annual Easter basket scavenger hunt. We had to follow 18 clues around the house that led us to our baskets. Each clue rhymed and they had a lot of fun finishing the rhyme and finding the egg with the next clue inside. All the clues led to the van where their baskets were hiding in each of their seats. Bryce had an outfit, a racecar lego set, and skittles. Blaine had an outfit, a shark lego set, and gummy worms. Ali had an outfit, a Skye mighty pups set, and gummy worms. We also found a note taped to our kitchen window telling us that we had been egged! Keith, Jean Ann, and Valerie hid 75 eggs in our front yard filled with candy! We also had a bag of goodies on our front porch from Kevin and Michelle. David and Adam delivered goodies to us the day before Easter and Grandma D and Grandpa Carl brought us some yummy goodies too! We felt very blessed and loved, even though we couldn't actually be all together! Daddy made a yummy ham for lunch and mamaw and papa came over to eat with us. We even delivered lunch to Grandma D and Grandpa Carl and drew some more pictures for them on their driveway! We didn't have fancy Easter outfits this year and didn't even get a family picture. In fact, a few of us didn't even change out of our pajamas!
We enjoyed watching Pastor Katie during the Good Friday service online. We lit our candles and blew each one out after the readings.
This girl loves these puzzles and has done them all by herself over and over again.
He had fun with this cool sketch pad from David, Nancy, and Adam.
Looking for the eggs Keith, Jean Ann, and Valerie hid for us!
After lunch, we had another egg hunt all around the rest of the yard!
Bryce was cracking me up using a mixing bowl as his egg basket!
