Blaine Turns 8

 Blaine Butler turned 8 on May 22nd. He is a big 2nd grader, soon to be Third Grader. He loves school and loves learning about animals! His animal tub keeps growing and growing. In fact, he spent some of his birthday money on more animals from Hobby Lobby. His room is always messy and he loves playing with his sister. Him and Bryce usually fight and argue when they are around each other, but also have a shared love of sports and it's pretty cute when they do play together. He can hold his own with Bryce and I'm pretty sure Bryce is a little scared of him. He is definitely a home body but has really enjoyed playing 8U baseball. His two best buddies at school are Owen Hagerdorn and Bryson Hobbs. His imagination and creativity amazes us every day. He even created his own board game for a project at school. His favorite show is still Wild Kratts and we have also been enjoying some classic Disney movies like Pinocchio and the Aristocats. He really wants to travel to Texas and he is very interested in visiting all 50 states someday! He tells the best jokes and his laugh continues to be my favorite sound in the whole world. He loves music and gives the best hugs. He wanted a basketball themed party this year and it was so nice to have a houseful of family again. He wanted a brownie basketball, m&m cookies, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream this year which was fine with me as that is way easier than cupcakes! Happy Birthday to our sweet boy. Here's another year of loving on you!
