It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

 Oh man, do we love decorating for Christmas at this house. We put everything up the week before Thanksgiving, and we still have it all up, even our real tree! Although it's starting to lose quite a few needles and it needs to go out this weekend. I wanted to share a few shots of our house all decorated. Each kid has a tree in their room. We bought a 4 foot tree for Bryce at an after Christmas sale at Big Lots last year. He decorated it with all of our sports ornaments. It turned out pretty cool! Blaine and Ali both have small trees in their rooms too. We have a nativity tree, farm tree, and a real tree all the living room. Then we have a kids tree in the basement. 

Christmas Program at Church

 On Sunday, December 11th, we had our annual Children's Christmas program at church. This year's program was titled, "Sound the Bells." Each kid got a part to read (even Ali) and it centered around the birth of Jesus and how different parts of the story were represented by different bells such as the warning bell, the wedding bells, the cowbell, and the tolling bell. All the kids did so great and Ali did so great with her first ever lines. She was loud and proud when she said, "What is that sound I hear?" 

Christmas Card Pictures

 On Thanksgiving, we took our annual Christmas card photos. We decided to do them outside this year since the weather wasn't too cold out. Although Blaine begged to differ. As always, Mamaw was our photographer and Nannie and Papa helped to get the kiddos to smile. I think they turned out pretty great and we were able to find some good ones for our Christmas card to send out.
