4 Weddings in 4 Weeks!

We have had four weddings in four weeks since September 29, and three out of the four have been outside ones. Brrrr! We had so much fun seeing family and some friends we haven't seen for awhile. It was also nice to have a few breaks from baby care, although we did miss our little man. The last of the four weddings Shane couldn't go because he had to chaprone his schools fall dance. Fun, fun! So Bryce and I went with mom and dad. He slept through the wedding and the first part of the reception. When they annouced the bride and groom, he decided he wanted to join the party!

This is the only picture I have of the two of us since right after he was born, and he looks like he wants to punch me.

Crabby boy was just tired, he needed his cousin Adam to put him to sleep! Adam was pretty proud, he was walking from table to table and introducing Bryce to everyone!

34 Years Later!

This past weekend, my parents had the opportunity to ride in the same car they rode in on their wedding day. They couldn't remember who was sitting on what side of the car, so we made them take two pictures so they could reenact the photo in the same positions. What awesome role models Shane and I have!

Fall Fun!

Bryce and I spent another long weekend back home. We had so much fun! He got to ride in the combine, meet some more cousins, go to a wedding, celebrate Grammy Gale's birthday, giggled with Grandma Bev, learned how to suck his thumb, and play with 6 girls at Grandma Diane's daycare! He also slept through the night for the first time! Wow! How exciting!

All Dressed Up!

On October 13, Shane and I went to another wedding in Peoria. We had planned to take Bryce but the weather was really windy and rainy when we left and with an outside wedding we opted to leave him with Nannie Myrl for the night. I really wanted to get a picture of the three of us all dressed up, so we put this adorable outfit on Bryce to get a picture. Unfortunately Bryce was not feeling it, he started to cry as soon as we dressed him up. These were the only good pictures we got between all the tears! I still think he looks pretty darn cute! I just figured out (thanks to my husband) that if you click on the picture, it makes it bigger! Just thought I would share if anyone else didn't know this little fact!

Best Birthday Ever!

 

 

This year as I celebrated my birthday, I felt extra blessed because I got to spend the day with my little man. We slept in (well a little), hung out in our pajamas, went for a beautiful fall walk in the park, and went out to eat at Monicals with Mom and Dad and Grandpa Carl and Grandma D. I couldn't have asked for a better day!

Of course he fell asleep on our walk.

Grandkid Pictures

Bryce is the sixth grandkid of Bill and Gale! He evens out the sexes, three girls and three boys. Trying to get a picture where all six kids are smiling is near impossible, so we settled for a picture where they are at least all looking in the same direction.

2 Months Old!

Bryce is two months old today! Time flies when you're having fun! At the doctor today he weighed 11 pounds and 11 ounces. I thought that was kinda cool because it's October 11th. He measured 24 1/2 inches. I think he's gonna be pretty tall! He also got four shots today, which is why he is currently sleeping as I'm writing this post. He screamed, his face got bright red, and at one point I thought he stopped breathing. But, he survived and won't even remember the experience, thank goodness. Here's his month by month pics!

Bryce is starting to develop a little personality. He is so fun to be around and so fun to photograph.

 

He fell asleep when I was holding him, so I put him in his swing and he stayed in that position. I thought it was so funny!

The first month after he was born, we just gave him a sponge bath on the counter in the bathroom, and he just screamed! Then, we bought a tub and he loves it! He just lays there as we pour warm water over him. He still screams but it's only when we get him out!  

This was after Shane's triathlon at my grandparents lake house. We were getting ready to go to our baby shower and it was the first time I put him in jeans. He looks so big!

Grandpa Bill and Grammy Gale got to babysit when we went to the wedding. He must of been tired because he slept for 6 hours and woke up a happy boy! I finally got a true smile on film!
