Toy bins with labeled laminated signs. It makes for an easy clean up, and makes my organized heart happy!
This table used to be in mom and dad's living room back in the day. In college, I brought it down from the attic, painted it black, and ordered a glass to fit on top. It's been in storage since we moved here. I was going to paint the top with chalkboard paint but I decided to get out some of my random flashcards instead. Bryce loves to sit at the table and eat his snack or use dry erase markers on the glass to write on it and circle different pictures.
I love how it turned out. The cards are only taped on, so I can switch them out anytime.
My paint chip calendar turned out so cute! I used paint sample sheets from Menards that had 2 by 2 squares in each color. I just cut them out and taped them down. I already had the frame, so this little project costs me nothing to make.
I used permanent markers to write the days of the week and dry erase markers for the dates and activities.
I use it for daily learning activities for Bryce and the girls.
I jazzed up the otherwise boring clothespins that hold the artwork.

We have so much more space now that we moved the bed upstairs. Bryce loves sitting at the table and doing our art projects.
Some before and after pictures of the other room in the basement:
There used to be a wall here that we tore down

Shane framed an old seed bag, cleaned up a clock he found he dad's shed, and put tin and old barn boards along the walls.
